At the end of a 4x4 route to the top of the mountain lies all the fun hidden in the "Spreeuwal Backyard", with a double-barrel shotgun, some lead and a stunning view of the Goud River that flows seamlessly through the farm.

Spreeuwal consists of two clearly marked, guided, hiking routes; The Boabab and the Mountain Vie. Each trail retains its own special attraction. Surrounded by the farm's unique Flora and Fauna you will soon find yourself in a relaxed state of tranquility. Coupled with the abundant bird and wildlife the trail demands experience to not miss out on.
The Boabab is a short circular 6km trail that is ideal for families and beginners. This route takes you on a leisurely walk up towards the mountain from where you can spot the infamous cave that descends past the majestic Boabab tree that inhabits the farm.
The Mountain View is a 13km long route for the more experienced hiker.
The trail ascends the mountain via an exquisite gorge and trees that take you right to the top of the mountain where you are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Waterberg oasis and mountain ranges. The route traverses all three "koppies" that lie across Spreeuwal and ends at the Sundowner Deck past the Big Dam.
There is no better way to observe the wildlife roaming the farm than in the comfort of a jeep with an ice-cold beverage in hand. Increase your knowledge of the biota and all it entails and admire the beauty that is Spreeuwal Game Farm.Animals that inhabit the farm include; Kudu, Oryx, Nyala, Impala, Zebra, Giraffe and so much more.
If you are lucky enough you can spot some of the more infrequent Critters and Carnivores that roam the farm, like the Leopard, Honeybadger or even an African Wildcat that mostly stalk their prey at night.On a Nature Reserve nearby you can encounter South-Africas famous Big-5 during a mid-afternoon drive. For those who might not be familiar with these special creatures, the Big-5 includes; Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Lion and the endangered White -and Black Rhinos.
